I've now submitted a preliminary research bibliography for the PhD and think I've now completed my list of secondary source books.
The latest to land on the mat are: Chariots for Apollo - the NASA History of Manned Lunar Spaceflight to 1969 ; Sputnik: the shock of the century and Von Braun, Dreamer of Space - Engineer of War
Plenty of reading ahead.
